About Austin

Hi I'm Austin! I have worked with children for 16 years. I started at 17 years old as a camp counselor. Then I went to UCLA, where I did an Autism Treatment Internship and graduated with a BA in Psychology in 2013. Since then, my career focus has been Behavioral and Developmental Therapy. Using ABA and RDI methods, Parent Education and Case Management., I have worked at several clinics and supported over 100 neurodivergent children. I am currently a Board Certified Autism Technician. I have also been a Preschool Teacher, Substitute Teacher, and Special Education Classroom Aide. I also became fluent in Spanish when I worked as an English teacher in Madrid and Mexico City. In 5 years on Care, I've been a nanny for about 12 families, a tutor for about 15 kids Kinder-college, and a soccer coach, and pet care provider. I currently tutor a junior in high school and teach Spanish to a 3-year-old. I am currently Graduate school to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Austin started out helping tutor our 11 year old and helped him get on track with structured study habits. He also helped with our son's social challenges engaging teachers to help facilitate his work. This has been so helpful! Austin has also worked with other children in our family to help them as well.
